For one thing, the Refractor rainbow nearly doubles, adding Sky Blue Refractor (#/300), Purple/Aqua Vapor Refractor (#/250), Aqua Refractor (#/199), Aqua Shimmer Refractor (#/175), Green Speckle Refractor (#/125), Rose Gold Refractor (#/75), Rose Gold Mini-Diamond Refractor (#/50) and Purple/Pink Vapor Refractor (#/3) editions.
There are also the new Finest Rookies Design Variation (1:12 packs) cards that switch out the background for top rookies in the base set.
On the insert side, 2021 Topps Finest Baseball unveils a refreshed lineup. Filling the normal throwback option that revisits an earlier Topps insert design is 1997 Topps Finest Masters (1:3 packs).
In addition, Finest Career Die-Cut celebrates Mike Trout and Finest Legacies (1:3 packs) contrasts current greats with the former legends from the same franchise.
Look for Gold Refractor (#/50), Red Refractor (#/5) and SuperFractor (1/1) parallels for each insert along with Kintsukuroi editions.
Unlike the base set, the autographs in 2021 Topps Finest Baseball do not see an increase in the Refractor selection.
However, joining the main Finest Autographs set is the new Finest Rookies Design Variation Autographs, which features the same parallels.
Signed insert versions are available via 1997 Topps Finest Masters Autographs (#'d) and Finest Moments Autographs.
