Promising "some of the world’s most interesting subjects," 2021 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball contains 300 cards featuring baseball and pop culture stars. Another 50 cards are found as base short prints. These names are not available in the main set.
As usual, every pack has one Mini card, while the Mini SP cards fall once every 13 packs. A&G adds multiple mini parallels for each group, as well.
2021 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Mini Parallel Breakdown
The Hobby-only Mini Metal (3 copies) and Framed Mini Cloth (#/10) parallels are only issued for 150 subjects.
Collectors should also be on the lookout for Mini Stained Glass (25 copies) editions covering 150 names.
Mini Exclusives (#351-400) cards only appear inside the Rip cards.
Retail is the only place to find 2021 RC players via the 2006 A&G Rookie Design Variations mini set.
Another common feature of A&G is the insert lineup that can be full-size or mini. Starting with the new full-size sets, 2021 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball works in Arboreal Appreciation for the tree lovers, Birds of a Feather for the parrot fans, Deep Sea Shiver for shark enthusiasts, and Rallying Back, which celebrates endangered species seeing a resurgence.
Of course, A&G is not all animals. Historic Hits identifies 50 of the all-time greatest hits in MLB history. Topps also goes retro with the reimagined T-51 Murad insert for top players. This set has Framed Cloth versions numbered to 51 copies.
The mini sets supply all-new themes, as well. Far Far Away covers celestial bodies, Good for You highlights healthy choices and Hats Off features a variety of headwear.
In addition, collect Mascots IRL, featuring MLB mascots "in real life," along with World Leaders from around the globe and World’s Largest, which displays huge items on the miniature cards.
In terms of the autographs, the 2021 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball checklist normally hinges on the non-baseball signers. Count on a large variety of subjects in Allen & Ginter Framed Mini Autographs. These can be found with Black Frames (#/25) or as the Hobby-only Red Ink version.
Low-numbered booklet cards include Allen & Ginter Autographed Relic Book and Allen & Ginter Dual Autographed Relic Book. All the book cards are limited to 10 copies.
On top of that, the Cut Signatures line honors 20 subjects via the one-of-one series.
Another box hit choice, relics take several forms in 2021 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball. The Allen & Ginter Full-Size Relics cards highlight baseball and non-baseball standouts, while Allen & Ginter Framed Mini Relics focuses on the MLB stars.
Much more exotic, Hobby-exclusive Allen & Ginter DNA Relics (#/25 or less) presents actual pieces of ancient fossils. Having a little fun, Allen & Ginter Mythical Relics (#/25 or less) offers Hobby-only cards containing faux relics from fictional creatures. Going deeper into the shark world, Deep Sea Shiver Relics cards are limited to 10 copies or less.
A&G fan can take a look back at the brand's history thanks to Allen & Ginter Framed Originals, which displays 100 one-of-one buyback cards.
Falling two per Hobby case, it wouldn't be Allen & Ginter without the popular Rip Card inserts. These count as box hits.
The selection consists of A&G Rip Card (100 subjects), A&G Dual Rip Card (50 subjects - Hobby only) and A&G Boxlader Rip Card (Hobby only) sets.
The oversized topper Rip Card features three minis with one being an exclusive Stained Glass edition.
